Tianjin Sunrise Technology & Trade Co.,Ltd., one of the three pillar enterprises under Tianjin Sunrise Group, is a high-tech enterprise located in the Tianjin High-Tech industrial park, occupying on area of 33000 sq.meters with a floorage of 20000 sq.meters. While introducing and applying advanced technology from the U.S.A., it successfully developed high purity sodium hypophosphite productin new “ one-step ” process, after years' efforts in research and pilot tiral. This technical process allows yellow phosphorus to be recovered as high as 150%, and the product index to be higher than 101.5%. Based on user demand, sodium hypophosphite product with a purity of over 103.5% can be provided as well. Its technical level and product quality are up to advanced international level. This project has been listed in the Torch Program of both State Science Committee and Tianjin-Municipality, and also listed among 20 significant high-tech industrial projects in Tianjin. The product has an annual output of 15000 tons, 80 percent of which are exported to Europe, the U.S.A., Japan and Southeast Asian nations.
Sodium hypophosphite (NaH2PO2H2O) is a kind of chemical plating agent used for workpieces that require higher accuracy and have complicated profile with concave or convex stripes, and inner wall of deep hole, or for surface metallization of plastics, ceramics, glass, quartz and other nonmetal materials, for components that require harder surface and higher wear resistance and large of fine workpieces that can't be treated by electroplating process. This product is used to get denser, more uniform and fasternickel and chrome coatings than electroplating. Top-quality sodium hypophosphiteis also widely used in computer HD and CD industry, and for making water treating compound and catalyst.
In 2004, the Company succesfully developed flame retardant with an output of 2000 tons peryear, which fills in the gap existing in flame retardant manufacturing in China. The products is widely used for textile, fire retardant finish and preparations of bactericide and algicide for water treatment. At present, quite a number of shakeless markets are built up both at home and abroad.
